
It seems that everyone you get to know wants something. Within each, they believe, is a deficiency or something missing. Maybe something ‘higher’ or more majestic or more interesting is needed.
But each person wears a special mask they have chosen, just for themselves. A mask which has the commanding role in their life.
Most masks have the quality of the status quo; to preserve the existing state of affairs. They are a shield to hide behind, to blame things on, to keep us enclosed in some imaginary boundary. To limit our freedom.
This ‘mask’ concept is respected between individuals. ‘I won’t mention your mask if you don’t mention mine’.
Many people think they are searching, but their mask is one of confinement. Thus, the search just continues day after day.
