Two Words Change a Life

‘Look at Uncle Walt (Whitman) up there (pointing to a picture of Walt Whitman on the wall). What does he remind you of? Don’t think! Just answer.’

Young Todd Anderson is petrified trying to answer, standing in front of his classmates. The whole scene could have been a catastrophe but Robin Williams utters those two words, ‘Don’t think.’

The impact of those two words frees minds from their mental prison.

They remove the need of running each thought we have through our myriad filters and monitors.

‘Don’t think’ instantly opens direct access to the Infinite.

If you have never seen ‘Dead Poet’s Society’ a link to the above scene follows.
