Let’s say you had a much less than perfect day where everything was unpleasant. You ‘experienced’ those twenty-four hours. They made up your life for one day.
If, on the day after, a friend asked you if you ‘lived’ yesterday, what would you tell him?
Does mental turmoil constitute life?
Sure, this is semantics, but the point to consider is that ‘time’ is really the underlining value. Without time, there is no value – good or bad.
The next time your day falls short of what you would like it to be, note it and play it again in your mind, this time substituting more perfect actions that could have been used.
